Rubrics and Standards Library

Hi everyone —

We’re thinking about how to improve rubrics and standards alignment in the tool, and I’d love your quick thoughts.

A few things I’m curious about:

1. When you’re creating or using a rubric…
What’s the most annoying or time-consuming part right now?

2. If you could “pull in” a rubric from somewhere…
Where would you want it to come from?
(e.g., past assignments, state standards, a shared library, etc.)

3. If GradingPal had a standards library…
What standards would you need to see included?

I haven’t had to follow standards for a long time. I imagine though it would be very helpful to have the state standards (if I taught at a school that has a state required test). NGSS are also commonly used. If I had a school that required me to provide it in lesson plans, that would probably be good to have.

Thanks. It’s a bit of a theme that some of our top-users don’t have to follow standards. But maybe if we build out the standards library, we’ll attract more people who do need to.
